Today's entry: Lay's Sweet Basil
From the same haul as the Nori Seaweed Lays. These were not as good. The potato flavor was completely overwhelmed, and it didn't taste like what I usually associate with basil. It was earthy and spicy, too spicy for my (very low) spice tolerance. My partner likes spice but he didn't like these either. The aftertaste was better, mellowing to a kind of tomato-y note, but the spice lingered. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to throw these out, unfortunately.
